Russian Government Plans to Boost Trade with Africa
The Russian Government plan to increase the volume of Russia's trade with Sub-Saharan African states was released on September 27, 2018.

According to the statement, the volume of Russia's trade with Sub-Saharan African states is expected to grow to $7 billion.


Today, Russia seeks to deepen understanding of the business climate, accelerate investment and partnership possibilities in Africa.

Expanding Russia-Africa trade is regarded as providing an opportunity for African countries to address a major constraint to export competitiveness and enhance the flow of Russian foreign direct investment into key sectors to accelerate Africa's industrialization and achieve the continent structural transformation.
